In collaboration with Labuan IBFC, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Malaysia and STEP Philanthropy Advisors Special Interest Group, organised a conference themed "Creating a Sustainable Future for Asian Charitable Giving" on 8 May 2019. Held in Kuala Lumpur, the conference was attended by over 100 practitioners from the fields of wealth management, estate planning and philanthropy, as well as representatives from charitable and non-governmental organisations.

The conference featured a line-up of high profile regional speakers who discussed the future of philanthropic giving in Asia. Through lively and information panel sessions, speakers examined various modalities which may be adopted towards ensuring the sustainability organisations’ charitable aims while ensuring their effective governance.
